February 28, 2025 is a day of economic blackout. A grassroots movement is calling for Americans to not spent a single penny with retailers on Feb. 28.
The movement comes as many Americans are struggling to feed their families and can’t keep up payments on the basics i.e. food, housing, clothing, etc. As most Americans struggle, retailers are raising prices, getting ride of DEI programs, and bowing to government pressure. The movement, organized by The People’s Union USA, has no political affiliation and is aimed at uniting Americans against corporate greed. The goal is to let retailers know the power is with the people and they should remember that.
- No Amazon, No Walmart, No Best Buy, etc
- No Fast Food
- No online purchases from retailers, restaurants, large banks, gas stations
- No use of credit cards or debit cards

So on February 28, avoid all unnecessary purchases, either in-person or online, from midnight Thursday to Midnight Friday.
